Patrick Kelly, the founder of Sigil Scent, created this detox bath recipe which includes common, organic and green household items for a clean, luxurious beauty routine. “Apple cider vinegar nourishes the skin with essential vitamins and minerals. It also helps to deodorize and restore the skin’s natural pH,” he explains. “Oatmeal calms irritation and redness while softening the skin.”
Recipe
1/2 cup sea salt
1 1/2 tsp grated organic ginger
1/8 cup organic apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup organic and cruelty-free coconut oil
1 cup wild rose petals
1/3 cup organic oatmeal
2 tbsp Sigil Scent of your choice
Instructions
Pour all of the ingredients into a warm bath. Make sure the water is hot (not scalding) before you dive in for 15-30 minutes.

Recipe
1/2 cup Epsom salt
1/2 cup bentonite clay
3 drops French lavender essential oil
3 drops frankincense essential oil
Handful of lavender flowers (optional)
Instructions
Combine the salt, clay and oils into a bath. Add the lavender flowers last. Then, sit in the detox concoction for 25-30 minutes.

3 Himalayan Pink Salt, Grapefruit & Ginger Detox Bath
Foot Soak Ingredients:
2 tablespoons bentonite clay
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
water to thin mixture (if needed)
1/2 cup epsom salt
6 quarts of hot water (or enough to fill your container)
A few drops of essential oils
1/2 cup Himalayan pink salt (if you can’t get your hands on this, sea salt will do)
1/2 cup Epsom salt
1 tsp baking soda
2-5 drops of Etta + Billie Grapefruit Cardamom Bath + Body Oil
2-5 drops of Etta + Billie Bergamot Ginger Bath + Body Oil

4 Himalayan Pink Salt, Grapefruit & Ginger Detox Bath
Dissolve the epsom salt in really hot, but not boiling water in a large bowl or foot tub.
Set on a towel to let cool.
Mix the bentonite clay and the apple cider vinegar to make a paste and add water if needed to make smooth (sour cream consistency).
Smooth over feet and ankles and let sit for 10 minutes until starting to dry and crack.
Place in foot soak for 15 minutes. The clay will slowly dissolve and fall off.
At the end, use a natural bristle brush to remove any remaining clay and dead skin.
Rinse and pat dry.
Pour all of the ingredients into the tub as the warm water starts to fill the bath. Turn off the water, check the temperature to make sure it’s to your satisfaction before entering. Then, soak for up to 30 minutes.

5 Oxygen Detox Bath Recipe
2 cups (or more) of Hydrogen Peroxide
1 Tablespoon dried Ginger Powder
Oxygen Detox Bath Instructions
Fill the tub with warm/hot water and add the hydrogen peroxide and dried Ginger. Soak in tub for 30 minutes or as long as desired. This bath is especially helpful during illness as the ginger helps clear congestion or alleviate body aches. It can also be helpful for allergies or skin irritation.

6 Salt Detox Bath Recipe
1/4 cup Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt
1/4 cup Epsom Salt
1/4 cup Baking Soda
1/3 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
Favorite essential oils if desired (I use 10 drops of peppermint or lavender)
Salt Detox Bath Instructions
Dissolve Salt, epsom salt, and baking soda in boiling water in a quart size jar and set aside. Fill tub with warm/hot water and add apple cider vinegar. Pour salt mixture in and add essential oils if using.
Soak in bath for 30 minutes or as long as desired. Note that with any detox bath, you may feel tired or lightheaded when you get out. I don’t recommend doing this while home alone or before going somewhere in case you are tired or need help.
This bath is great for soothing skin irritation, boosting magnesium levels and overall detoxing.
