To know how ions affect the body, it is important to know what they are. Ions are simple atoms which have become charged through the balance of the particles within them, namely protons and electrons.
Protons are positively charged particles of an atom’s nucleus; electrons are small, negatively charged particles surrounding the nucleus. The dance between these two charged particles determines the atom’s overall charge. An atom is considered negatively charged if it contains more electrons than protons. An atom is considered positively charged if it contains less electrons than protons.
The human body is an electric system, and collects charged particles from the environment around it. In the body, positive ions can be considered bad; negative ions are good. Environmental toxins from the air we breathe and the overly processed foods we eat have a positive charge. These positively charged toxins can cling to the extra electrons in the body, causing a buildup of toxins, which is associated with both common ailments and chronic disorders.
An ion detox using an ionic foot bath introduces a great number of negatively charged ions into the body through the skin by way of a warm foot soak. The warm water increases the absorption rate of these ions. When the negatively charged ions enter the body, they attract the positively charged toxins. As the two ions meet, they neutralize each other, and are able to be easily excreted from the system through urination and the sweat glands.
With any ionic detox, it is important that the body has sufficient water for excreting these waste particles. Should the body be insufficiently hydrated, the toxins may remain in the sweat glands or simply travel to another part of the body.

The Dual Detox machine works on the principles of magnetic ionization. The machine creates negative magnetic field which attracts the positively charged toxins towards it.
·Unpack the AROGYA ARG-722 Dual Detox machine from the product box.
·Plug in the AC wire into the power supply. Switch the master power button on the rear end on. The LED on the Dual Foot Detox Spa machine shall turn on.
·Take any household empty tub and fill it with water sufficient to emerge the water. Please note that after emerging the foot detox machine array, the water level should not go beyond 3/4th the array’s height.
·Add a pinch of common salt in the tub of water. Remember, not adding salt in the water will not start the detoxification. And adding too much salt will also not let the machine detox.
·Connect the dual foot detox machine with the two arrays and wrist bands. Wear the wrist band firmly on your wrist. Ideally, it will help if you put some water on your wrist before wearing the wrist band. The wrist band will aid the detoxification from upper body.
·Now, both users shall immerse their feet in their respective tubs of water, and should be wearing the wrist bands.
·Please note that not wearing the wrist band will not start the detoxification process.
·Press the On/Off button on the Dual Detox Machine.
·Select between the preset modes and set the time that you want the detoxification to continue.
·After usage, clean both the arrays and the tub and keep in dry location.
There is some controversy over what happens to the water during a detox session. Sales people like to push the fact that the water changes from being clear to being quite dirty looking after a typical 30 minute detox session due mostly to the toxins being pulled out through the feet. Skeptics will quickly point out that the water will change color regardless of whether or not a persons feet are in the water. Experiments will confirm that the skeptics are correct in this case. The process of electrolysis and the ionic reaction that takes place will produce a color change. This reaction is influenced by whatever ionic particles are in the water.
